Objectives: To provide participants with the necessary means and tools to recognize problematic body language and to respond to patient respond to patient aggression or violence (or that of patient’s family and/or friends), until security forces arrive. To provide self-defense skills to medical and health personnel in the case of intrusion or aggression. Designed for: Medical/health personnel. Course length: A one day intensive workshop (10 teaching hours). Topics covered: * Body language to identify a potential aggressor Certification: Individuals who successfully complete the workshop will receive a certificate for their participation in PSOS's (Professional School of Security) Self-Defense Workshop for Medical/Healthcare Personnel. |
