BODY LANGUAGE AND CRISIS-RESPONSE WORKSHOP FOR POLICE OFFICERS - PSOS

Objectives:

To provide participants with a theoretic and practical understanding of body language interpretation and analysis. To provide awareness regarding the subjective and objective factors that affect humans under pressure, and how to understand and attempt to control these. This education is based on the idea that the human factor, and its reaction in moments of vrisis (faced with threat, attack, violence or disaster), is the key to success.

Designed for:

Police and other law-enforcement officers.

Course length:

A one day intensive workshop (8 teaching hours).

Topics covered:

* Body language concepts
* Detecting suspicious behavior
* Leadership and decision-making during crises
* Transition from routine to emergency situations
* Video-aided simulations and exercises
* Analysis of these exercises
* Summary and conclusions

Certification:

Individuals who successfully complete the workshop will receive a certificate for their participation in PSOS's (Professional School of Security) Body Language and Crisis-Response Workshop For Police Officers.
