PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN - PSOS

PDF Print E-mail

The physical security management plan must be capable of responding to both routine and crisis situations in the realm of physical security.  It should be practical, professional and simple to carry out in the everyday as well as in emergencies.

In emergency situations, the security management plan entails cooperation and quick, professional reactions until auxiliary forces arrive and there is an organized transfer of power.

The security plans that PSOS designs for existing systems include:

* Risk-assessment
* Assessment of findings, and an improvement plan
* Control and inspection of the system installation
* Periodic reports to the management, with the goal of maintaining high and consistent security standards

The security plans that PSOS designs for planned systems include:

* Risk-analysis
* The presentation of an integrated security plan with adequate means and systems
* Monitoring and inspecting the implementation of the security plan
* Control and periodic reports to the management

In both cases:

* Preparation of the work procedures
* Training internal and external security management personnel
* Inspection of proper installation and functioning of the systems
* Supervision of security management personnel
* Periodic inspection (tri-annually) for two years
